About a month ago I posted this, so I thought I’d update you guys on the status of Ayla’s tattoo, which got finished on Monday (10.11.10). The entire thing only ended up costing $160 total, plus a $30 tip.

My dear friend Ayla went down to The Parlour today and got the first part of her snail tattoo done. This is a tattoo that she’s been wanting for a pretty long time, and I am just dumbstruck by how beautiful it turned out! The she got her linework done today by Jimmy, and paid down $80 of the $200 quote. She’s due to go back on October 11th to get the color work done, at which time she’s promised to give me another photo. I have lots of friends that have had ink done at The Parlour, all of it beautiful and well-done. I even had my tattoo done there, and intend to go back! Lyndse’s First Tattoo, or The West Birthday Ever Done June 25, 2010 at The Parlour by Etzel… and he did an amazing job. :D Granted, this was taken just minutes after he was finished. Presently it’s kinda in goopy open-wound mode. Not really much to show off, for a little bit anyway.
