A Furious Pipedream

Yesterday I took Jason out as a late birthday gift to see Total Recall and out to Chinese food.

But before that I went to Michaels (the craft store) and got a bunch of crafty stuff since Husband and I both want to make t-shirts to wear to Bassnectar in a couple of weeks.

But when I got home last night I found that the flocked iron-on letters I bought didn’t have enough “L”s so I went out early this morning to 1) exchange the green flocked letters I got for hot pink ones and 2) use a coupon to get an extra set of letters.

Unfortunately I still haven’t made it to Michaels because I take the bus and the buses suck on Sundays.

However I did go to Target and while I was there there was a little dude who was in a shopping cart seat with his mom and dad and siblings and he was singing over and over, “HEY TEACHER, LEAVE THOSE KIDS ALONE” and I was so surprised I turned and looked at him and was like, “You are super cool, little brother!” And his parents laughed.

And then I went to High Priestess ‘cause I needed some silicone o-rings for my rim piercing retainers ‘cause I’m forever losing them, and I ended up getting my first pair of silicone tunnels for my lobes! I’ve always wanted a pair and now that I have them they are as awesome as I assumed. And they’re hot pink, naturally. I also special ordered a pair of glow-in-the-dark glass plugs. :D And since they’re having a sale right now I got them both for like 20% off or something like that.

Incidentally I have a pair of green 2g double flare acrylic glow-in-the-dark plugs that I’ve never worn that I’m looking to get rid of. Also a pair of 0g acrylic tapers that are white, neon orange, and neon green. If you’re interested send me a message, I’m going to sell them but not for very much.

Then when I was waiting for the bus a guy hit me up for bus fare and I didn’t have any cash so I apologized, and as he was walking away he was like, “You’re really beautiful by the way” which really surprised me but it made me feel nice.

And then when I got off the bus and I was walking home I found a perfectly good silver necklace with a charm that has an as-yet unidentified brownish black stone in it. Finders keepers! Unfortunately it’s a men’s style necklace so I’m giving it to Husband.

AND I finally made an appointment with Amelia to get my hair did! It’ll be fresh and sexy right before we go see Bassnectar! I’m so excited. I haven’t gotten my hair done in a salon in probably seven years. No joke.
